As the weather heats up, the TV season is rapidly cooling down. Soon, aside from some quality summer shows, original programming across the dial will become more scarce. What?s a TV junkie to do? Well, don?t despair! The summer is the perfect time to catch up on all those critical darlings and forgotten gems you just don?t have time for during the regular season.

But how do you know what show is the right summer viewing for your unique and discerning tastes? Well, we?ve thought of that too! If you like some of these current shows, here are some shows streaming on Netflix and Hulu you might also want to give a shot as the weather heats up.

If you?re looking for a good book, check out TV. There are plenty of shows based on novels, short stories and even comic books. Here?s a look at 15 current shows, all based either heavily or loosely on literature that you may be inspired to check out. Brought to you by A&E?s Longmire. It seems like nowadays any time a Real Housewives star announces their engagement, a spin-off announcement from Bravo follows shortly after. Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney is the next in line for a wedding spin-off with a show that will document her trip down the aisle with fiance Eddie Judge.

In the second hour, Michael returns to Miami, but his new handler forbids him from seeing Fiona, Sam, and Jesse.

With American Idol season 12 behind us, it’s time for the speculation to begin on who will replace Randy Jackson and possibly the remaining three judges if they all leave as well, as is expected. Vulture is reporting that former contestants are being considered to join the panel, if not all the spots then at least one.
